Avatar Leo

When Leo tells Piper and the rest that he is an Avatar, in the episode There's Something About Leo, their reactions after the initial shock are so unrealistic. Leo has been in their lives for so long, and he is nothing but good, honest, and loyal. His whole goal, forever, has been to care for all of them, love Piper, and love his sons. How the heck is this their reaction? And bringing Brody into something that important when Paige knew what happened to his parents was thoughtless. The more I go back through Charmed, the more I realize how horrible the writing is. They are so man-crazy that their characters become unbelievably stupid and impulsive.

The Dumbest Character Decision in Charmed

This might be argued, but since I'm rewatching Charmed and got to Episode 20 of Season 3: Exit Strategy. I cannot believe how utterly unbelievable and incompetent they make the Charmed Ones seem in this episode. Phoebe watches another demon force Cole into killing an innocent. Instead of defending him, she turns on him, allowing Prue and Piper to turn on him too. Sure, whatever. Pretty unbelievable due his weakened state, sweating, and begging, but let's overlook that.

The dumbest part is actually having Phoebe break the potion to seal his powers. Why the F**K would you do that? From any LOGICAL standpoint? Even if he was going evil, he WANTED to seal his powers away and that would have gotten rid of a VERY powerful demon. This was just STUPID writing to force Cole to stay evil, so they can continue the melodrama.

Prue's Death was Needed

Not because of the character, but because of the horrid writing around her. I'm currently rewatching Charmed and I cannot believe how annoying her existence is. Every episode, and I mean EVERY episode follows one of these formulas:

Is something bad happening to Prue? Then she saves the day!
Is something nice happening to Prue? Then she saves the day!
Is something mysterious happening? Prue's intuition is right!
Is Prue wrong about something for once? Then she saves the day!
Are mysterious hints going to be dropped? Prue notices them!
New demon around? Prue can definitely take it!

Every. Single. Episode. had to be about how Prue was just the greatest thing in the whole wide world, leaving Piper and Phoebe always feeling like second class characters. Even Piper's wedding ended up about how Prue needed to escape and ruin the wedding. Before that, Phoebe's episode was definitely all about Prue saving the day and judging Cole. At all times she had to either be somewhat "equal" to them in the story or outclass them completely.

I am so glad they got rid of her because this crap writing was just unbearable.

For example: Phoebe actively chose to start training because she didn't have an active power, but suddenly Prue also knows the martial arts and is even able to counter Phoebe? Who we actually saw training for this? Prue had a lot of undeserved skill just to make sure she outclasses her sisters.
