Hi everyone! I am a first year PhD student and I am currently trying to find specific biographies. Im looking for information on transgender experiences with medicalisation and current contagion rhetorics.
Is there any database that has biographies or autoethnography listed in one place??

So I’ve had chronic migraines since 6yrs (I’m now 25) and have been on an ever changing rotation of preventatives. Propranolol and topiramate worked pretty well as a kid but as I’ve gotten older they’ve stopped working.
I’m currently trialing Nadalol and sodium valproate as well as physiotherapy (targeting C1, C2) for my neck.
I am being referred to a neurologist (boo it’ll be private so I need to start saving for the consultation now) but the doctor mentioned that this neurologist doesn’t like preventatives? They use a combination of vitamins etc and would probably take me off all the preventatives.
Does this sound weird to anyone else? I’m nervous about how this would help or if I am wasting my money
(For context I already take magnesium, B12 shots and D3)
