Sober and exhausted

I quit alcohol 16 days ago! Woo! I need to lose some extra weight and didn't want to depend on it regularly to wind down.

However, since quitting I am exhausted. The last time I felt this exhausted was in undergrad and cramming to get projects down at the end of the semesters.

Doesn't matter how much I sleep, I'm always down to nap or actually napping/sleeping/dozing. I've also lost my appetite and it's making the workouts at the gym harder. My motivation to even go is hitting bottom.

Coffee, tea, red bull, are not evening helping. I got stuff to do and all I want to do is nap.

What are your experiences with exhaustion and quitting alcohol? Or did you not have that issue?

Edit to add: I'm thankful I don't crave alcohol but dang I need caffeine pumped into my blood stream.
