Extreme and worsening headaches after exercise

I’ve been going to the gym for a few weeks now, and i get extreme headaches when i work out. It started maybe 2–3 weeks ago when i was just lifting heavy and wasn’t that bad and they went away quickly, but recently they’ve been getting significantly worse. Today I was just warming up on the smith machine and out of nowhere easily the worst headache of my life hit me from the back and sides of my head. It’s still really bad right now and keeps occasionally pulsing and it hurts like hell. I’ve tried everything over the past few weeks to try and fix it. I’ve:
\-Drank more water
\-Tried breathing more
\-More Warmups
\-Eating more
\-Not lifting too much
\-Improved form
It just keeps getting worse and it sucks so much because I really like working out so I’m just wondering if anyone here has experienced the same thing and/or knows any fixes. I’m going to try to see a doctor soon, but I have both been to a cardiologist and had a head/neck CT in the past two years due to unrelated stuff and nothing came up. Also I don’t take any workout-related supplements.
