Multimedia Approach (Creative Writing)
I’m interested in writing some of my story out alongside the webcomic and I’m just wondering how that’s worked out for people! I’ve recently focused on digital art because I loooove visual storytelling, but I’m finding it hard to get across anything content/emotion heavy in the drawings. Especially characters inner monologues or feelings, and also some scenes are just so hard to draw haha. I’m just wondering how others have approached this?
I love writing and I think it would really help fill in gaps between episodes or include little extras where I don’t have the skills to draw - but still keeping the main content body on the webcomic. So maybe posting extras on AO3?
Anyway I’m just really interested in the ways people are putting their stories out there!! Whether this is animation, writing or even songs. Just let me know your experiences and how it’s worked out for you 😼
