Best city for dating and making friends in your 30s?
I’m blessed to be in a position now where I can work anywhere as long as I have internet and I’m ready to get back in the game. After being single for years being able to go out, have fun, and meet people is on my priority list.
I’m in Chicago and I LOVE it but dating here is meh and the social scene can be challenging since most ppl here are already set in their friend groups.
NYC is also on the list and dating there is great and apparently making friends in nyc is easy, but I don’t think I’d enjoy the city long term and would probably like to leave after a couple years.
LA seems nice but dating there is notoriously bad for black women.
Houston is a contender, but the city never piqued my interest. I enjoyed Miami but I have the impression that relationships there are surface level/fake. Is that true?
Tbh I’m more of a Midwest/ East coast girl so I haven’t really considered the south but I’m open to it.
