Looking to replace my current camera

Hello All,

I am looking for some advice. I am looking at replacing my D70, I am trying to figure out where to go. The current camera was bought new around 2006 with a shutter count of 13,713.

I usually pull the camera out and use for a few months then put it back on the shelf for a while... I like the feel of the current camera, the Compact Flash cards are starting to give me issues, and the batteries are starting to fail. I would also like a few more pixels, I print several photos on an Epson ET-8550 and the software tells me the photos are too low of resolution for several sizes e.g. 11x17 & 13x19. Finally, after 20 years I would like some new technology.

This is a list of equipment I have:
Nikon D70
Nikon 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED-IF AF-S VR
Nikon 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G ED IF AF-S VR
Nikon 50mm f/1.8 AF D
Nikon SB-800

I use the 18-200mm 95% of the time. I would like to be able to do video, but I am not really sure what I would record. It must have a viewfinder, screens do not work for me. I would like to stay under $2000 for a camera and decent lens to start but I am sure that is not going to work so I can go a little over.

What would you suggest for a replacement? My preference is to buy new; I have had bad luck with used items in the past. And frankly cannot find anything used for a good price, people around me are asking $1000 for D7200 w/18mm-55mm or $200 for a D70 w/Tamron 18-200mm.

Do I go with a Z mirrorless? I was looking at the Z50II Mirrorless with DX 16-50mm f/3.5-6.3 VR and DX 50-250mm f/4.5-6.3 VR Lenses. If I get a mirrorless, would I also get an Adapter FTZ II

I can still buy a D850 local?

Or something else like a Sony or Cannon?

Hello!

All the sudden most of my borderless prints on my ET8500 are having a small border on one side. It's happening on sizes from 13x19 down to 4x6.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Does anyone have any suggestions on how to correct this issue?
