While drafting a potential top pair defensemen seems like the wise economic play, having the opportunity to acquire another 200 ft. player with the potential to elevate his teammates, and who knows, maybe even take some pressure off Celebrini to carry the team, seems like the ideal move given the situation. Stenberg might not be generational, but the Sharks already have that player. The best they can do is surround him with complementary talents and hope more than just ping pong balls bounce the right way.
