Been really wanting to make some Daleks related drawings for a few weeks now at the least! So these fun little sketches I just made were the end result of that drive as you can all tell. What do you think of them?

The Chimera (Resistance Fall of Man) vs The Replicas (F.E.A.R.)

(This post was cross posted from the Spacebattle site where I first wrote this whole matchup idea just about a year ago in for context. However, I did add and change some details in this to hopefully make it a bit better in format at the very least.)

So, I decided to make this post since I was curious to see which hive mind-like enemy from these somewhat horror styled games would win in all out battle to the death!

Getting to it, on one side we have the Chimera from the Resistance game series! (Primely the first game)
________________________________________________
Chimera forces to be used in this are:
''40 Hybrids'' (All 3 types of them mix up in groups of three's) [Hybrids]
''30 Leapers and Rollers'' [Leapers/Rollers]
''5 Howler's'' [Howlers]
''15 Steelheads'' [Steelheads]
''6 Stalkers'' [Stalkers]
''5 Titans'' [Titans]
''8 Slipskulls'' [Slipskulls]
''6 Grey Jacks'' [Gray Jacks]
''6 HardFangs'' [Hardfangs]
''1 Burrower'' [Burrowers ]
''1 Goliath'' (Can't fire Spire missiles in this) [Goliaths]
''2 Widowmaker'' [Widowmakers]
________________________________________________

And on the other side of this debate are the Replica from F.E.A.R.! (First game and Extraction Point mainly)
________________________________________________
Replica forces to be use in this are:
''40 Replica Recon Soldiers'' [Recon Soldiers]
''10 Replica Urban Soldiers'' [Urban Soldiers]
''10 Replica Desert Soldiers'' [Desert Soldiers]
''9 Replica Elite Soldiers'' [Elite Soldiers]
''8 Replica Snipers'' [Sniper's]
''9 Replica Laser Elite Soldiers'' [Laser Elite Soldiers]
''4 Replica Heavy Armor's'' [Heavy Armor's]
''3 Replica Heavy Riot Armor's'' [Heavy Riot Armor's]
''10 Replica Assassins'' [Assassins]
''4 REV6 Powered Armor'' [Powered Armor's]
''7 REV8 Leviathan'' [Leviathans]
________________________________________________

(Take a bloody drink on how many times I say ''Replica'' or ''Soldier'' in this, I dare you.)
As for the win cons/rules for these groups to have in this matchup here? Well, both sides main goal is to completely destroy the other with no survivors at all to speak of.
Both the Chimera and Replicas are bloodthirsty and will use whatever means they have on them to utterly annihilate their opponents at any form of cost

The map being used for this will take place at ''Still island'' [Still Island] from F.E.A.R. 2, with both forces stationed at both ends of the island's edges.

Who wins this battle by the end of it?

Something I just realised a while back concerning an aspect of the Weeping Angels

So, something I notice as of late regarding the Weeping Angels themselves, is of a somewhat small misconception regarding an aspect of them that some people in this fandom don't really bring up a whole lot in discussions or think too deeply on it exactly.

Specifically what some some fans say when they talk about one of their ''Core'' weakness you can use against them. That being putting any kind of mirror in front of their line of vision would make an Angel quantum-lock themselves permanently into place for good.

On it's own. It seems pretty clear cut and easy to understand, and it makes sense for the Angels to have a weak point like that, right? Well, not exactly per say. You see, some fans would talk about this weakness for them would usual only be thinking of the episode Blink when referring to how you can stop an Angel in place and nothing farther then that.
(From what I seen of this anyway)

However, what those fans fail to realise with using Blink as a context for this, is that said weakness wouldn't really make any sense at all when using the Angels just in that episode alone. Since it's pretty clearly stated by the Doctor's speech at one point that only another living being's gaze can active their quantum-locking and turn them into a lifeless statue.
Their own eyes don't count for this or else, they would be all just be stuck staring into their palms for all eternity by that logic. So using the mirror trick against them wouldn't really work out at all in reality.

That is, if we only discounting Time of the Angels/Flash and Stone episodes from this discussion, and if we not. Then that makes the mirror weakness make a lot more sense to use now, since one of their new abilities that was added to the Angels in the two-parter (The image of an Angel, is an Angel) can be used against them in the form of a mirror being put up in their vision, since that would make their own self-reflection into a different Angel and be able to stun-lock the former into place and such.

Now, of course. I can understand why a lot of fans do not like the new abilities that got added to the Angels in those later episodes and all that. (I personally don't mind them but that's just me) but wherever you like it or not, those later episodes did help to make that weakness for the Angels make a lot more sense and fitting for them now by this point now if you ask me.

Regardless. I am pretty curious to hear some of your own thoughts on this matter here! Do you think there's a way on keeping the mirror weakness for the Angels without using later material giving to them over the years? Or do you agree with my main point I make in this post of mine here?
