A few months back I was deleting a large sum of emails from the mail application on my MacBook Air. Eventually it got to the point where I tried to delete so many emails at once that the Mail application ceased function. It’s now completely blank, it can no longer receive emails, and when I try to send an email directly from the app. It starts glitching out and I have to force quit it to make it stop. Has anyone else ran into a similar issue and if so, could/how did you fix it? I should also clarify this did NOT affect my gmail. I just now have to access it from the gmail website. So it’s just the mail app itself that was affected.
