Replaced blown strut, now dealing with “ka-thunk” every time I drive over a pothole

2012 Cadillac SRX; With y’all’s help, I swapped my struts out 3 months ago. Since then, every little bump or ripple in the road causes a soft thunk or a louder ka-thunk noise, but it doesn’t pull bad, drives perfectly straight, no uneven wear, just weird noises. Possible defective strut assembly? The 4 bolts are all torqued.
