TN Medical Officers Association condemns the unauthorised inspection at Sankarankoil
Average BJP IT cell behaviour on a global stage.
EDIT: Since some 'people' seem to not know what IT cell behaviour is, let me clarify: denying facts, whataboutery instead of answering the actual question, inventing fake narratives, spreading propaganda, anyone with different opinion or raising a question or criticising gets name called, shamed about nationality/unity, or just outright abused.
And here's a word to you: You don't need to teach us how to be 'Indians' or how to love our country. We criticise because we love our country and don't want it be humiliated. You are doing a grave betrayal to the country by supporting a single man over the country. The constitution rests the responsibility of making sure the govt elected by the people remains accountable to the people, which is what we are doing.
Modi ≠ India. Questioning Modi & govt ≠ Attacking India.
Somebody (a 'Sanatani') just got exposed.
Context: In the r/SouthernIndia subReddit, one North Indian (OP) was genuinely asking why TN is against 'Sanatana Dharma' and I have explained in detail how Brahminism was once rampant in TN and how all non-brahmins were considered shudras citing the same Sanatan Dharma as the reason to prevent entry into temples and from my own grandmother's account they were not allowed to wear shirt or slippers, enter theirs and temple's streets, bow down when they crossed etc. And this dude (NOT OP) gave this as the reason for those practices, essentially justified 'untouchability'. Also never answered when I asked if he was from TN, if they will do away with caste surnames like we did, and if Sanatan dharma is just eternal duty will they also let any Hindu to enter any temple to do any ritual. No answer for any of those.
Note: The paragraph above the highlighted one, about Dalit room mate, it wasn't in TN. This dude was pretending to be from TN and I later found he wasn't. So that didn't happen in TN.
EDIT
Here's the full thread:

And I used the term 'Exposed' here, because we have been continuously reiterating that the only reason for us to be against the term 'Sanatana Dharma' was because it justifies caste hierarchy and while these people continue to tell that it just means 'eternal duty/dharm' but when asked to walk the talk, like agreeing to do away with caste surnames like we did, allowing all Hindus to enter all temples to do any ritual they want, a self proclaimed 'sanatani' never agreed to those.
EDIT 2: To the North Indians trying argue here, I won't be 'debating' to gain your validation for our belief. Because that is not required for us. I can only clarify your doubts. And Hinduism doesn't have set rules or definitions, it encourages finding your own path to God, allows even atheism. Pushing down a term down a fellow Hindu's throat in itself is against its philosophy. And if your argument is that my grandma was lying, better keep it to yourself.
The Dravidian movement itself is the proof. Everything she has said about the practices have been well documented in TN. Her generation isn't on the internet and even the generation after her, boomers, majority do not speak English well, which is why they dont make it to reddit. So all their accounts of these practices are in Tamil. Your inability to understand it because of the language, doesnt make it a 'lie' or not a legit source, thats basic common sense.
My grandma lived by her word throughout her life, never lied and threatened me since childhood that if I lied Kalimotaan (a form of Durga) will have my tongue. She refused to come live with us even when she got old because 'she entered her marital home with her husband and will only die where he died.' And she did die in my grandpa's bed, peacefully. The kind of strength and conviction I have seen in her, in everything, I haven't seen in anyone I have met.
To the North Indians that seem genuinely confused how all non-Brahmins in TN were considered Shudras: We do not know. And non-brahmins in TN back then were forbidden from learning Sanskrit or read vedas, so they couldn't have known either. But I'm assuming it could be because all Tamil non-brahmins consume meat. I'm adding this only for context, I belong to a caste that do not even have reservation in TN, trace our lineage back to a king of a small region (dude has his statue, a wikipedia page, built temples with inscriptions etc) yet we were considered shudras too, not Kshatriyas. So in TN, there was essentially only two varnas - Brahmins and Shudras.
EDIT 3 (Final one, for the bots trying to rage bait and see how 'Hindu' we are) Today is Vaikasi 1, considered an auspicious month for Lord Murugan. My wife is deeply spiritual and so is my mother, while my mother called me and told she went to the temple today, my wife is performing Puja at our home for Murugan. Now, if I told either one of them 'Vote for BJP to save Hinduism or that this is Sanatana Dharma' I will get beaten by both and be called a Sanghi. Just an average Tamil household.
Also, I'm not saying caste system is completely eradicated in TN. But Dravidian ideology drives us in the right direction, from initiation of no caste surnames to now introducing intercaste marriage scheme which provides gold and financial incentives. TN is on the right path.
Enaku mattum dhaan ipdi thonudha ila idhu unmaya?
I'm writing this in Tamil for a reason. Inga Indian subs la most BJP IT wing active ah iruka Ila enaku mattum dhaan apdi thonudha? Like BJP against ah enga post pannalum, downvote panradhu, attack panradhu? Sometimes even in international subs? Even in world news sub. Aduvum TN nu sonnale they hate it the most. Modi or BJP against ah pesina, flood maari varaanga, to downvote and attack. Honestly kekuren, I am not accusing anyone, naan mattum dhaan feel panrena or have you felt it too?
EDIT: Let me clarify the difference. DMK/TVK/ADMK IT wings most ah downvote pannuvaanga, sanda poduvaanga, call you names. BJP IT wings outside of our southern subReddits romba organised ah working. Oru kootama varaanga. Set up a fake narrative like BJP is popular in TN and going to come to power nu. When you disagree, they downvote us to hell, mass report and nammalaye Tamilan eh ila nu solluvaanga. Especially in spaces where our presence are very less - like the international subs - they set up fake narratives like that.
