My solution to the rush vs blocker meta if anyone cares

I think that there are a lot of solutions going around and some of them are really out there reinventing the core of the game. This topic has been discussed to death but I am bored so read this.

I will start with the fact that for many years in MTG I was a rushdown/agrro player. Mono red, Gruul, even technically mono blue tempo. These decks lost to midrange or control players who knew what they were doing. That isn't the case in Gundam TCG, and that is just a hard fact.

To me it is as simple as these things:

  1. Give better control options including board wipes and much better ping/destroy effects
  • Allows real thematic win conditions to exist outside of outlasting aggro
  • Gives identity to colors (purple destroy, red/blue ping, white bounce, green AoE, etc.)
  • Lowers dependence on unlinkable goodstuff blockers who are a requirement to see turn 5
  1. Add more searches and card draw with less restrictions
  • Fixing the insane lack of card draw will balance out the extra hate in point 1 against aggro
  • Streamlines deck win conditions for everyone
  • Fixes major issues with fun thematic cards requiring links to be moderately good

How are you guys running CB? I can't pick two colors. I think I will definitely go red, but from there do I go purple or green? Lockon + new Kyrios seems like a great combo, but losing purple exia is rough. Hoping you guys can help me break through the analysis paralysis before my local tournament today.
