I've been invited to a good friend's wedding this August. The dess code is semi-formal. I haven't had to dress up for anything like this in a long time, so I really don't have any idea what constitutes semi-formal. I'd like to wear a dress, but I'm not really sure what I should be looking for or what I should avoid. Help?
