3 weeks post op and now my gallbladder 😭

Had my revision on April 27. On Tuesday, I thought I maybe pulled something because I was doing too much, but the pain didn’t go away and has gotten progressive awards across the week. Eventually, I was vomiting and nauseous so I called my team and they were like “do not pass go, do not collect $200 go straight to the ER” where I was lovingly informed that my gallbladder is super inflamed and packed full of stones and it needs to come out.

Bleh. I just want to hold my baby, and I don’t want to have another two weeks of recovery.

Question about newer modalities.

Hey All!

I’ve seen a lot of comments underneath conversations about new modalities that talks about how evidence based they are. A comment under a post about IFS (which sparked this post) said it only has like half a dozen or something research papers about it.

So my question is what makes a modality evidence based? How much evidence needs to go into a modality before it is considered evidence based?

I’ve kind of always been curious about this question but I’ve never really found a good answer to it so I’m interested in hearing other people’s thoughts.
