I think about this verse a lot. Not to be controversial, I know their business is their business but something about this era felt like Ecco was very open about his affection to Bladee and these lyrics always felt a bit confessional to me. They grew up together as industry children and were very close since school days, it just doesn’t feel like much of a stretch.

I’m not trying to actually speculate, more trying to ask if I was the only one who read the lyrics this way.
