Recurrent Appendicitis

Hi all,

My brother (12M) has recurrent stomach pain around central area and in the past 5 months, twice in the lower right quadrant (had to take school off).

Not sure if it's appendicitis, pain episode lasts for 3-4 days. We called 111 and saw a doctor today who said it's not appendicitis, but should return if pain recurs often.

Was wondering what sort of tests we should go for (would like to test for any other GI issues too), happy to go private clinics but we're not sure of any in Central / East London. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Black speck in stool

Tested positive for H Pylori, have been on antibiotics + ppi for a week (amoxicillin, lansoprazole, clarithromycin)

I originally went for a test because I had symptoms of stomach ulcer (pain, bloating, nausea) and black specks in stool

My treatment is about half way through done, seeing more black specks in stool (not starry, normal shape) than usual with a tiny bit of blood, suspect it could be GI bleeding.

Should I be worried? Or do I just continue with treatment and the (potential) bleeding will go away

Ps: Not taking Pepto / eating anything that cause black specks
