Nursing student in Helsinki looking for work in elderly/home care(118+ credits done)

Hei,

I’m studying public health nursing (118+ credits completed) and I’m looking for work in the Helsinki area elderly care, home care, assisted living, anything nursing-adjacent. I’ve been in Finland for two years, mostly navigating things on my own, and I really need steady work at this point, both for the experience and the income (If you have any other type of work I’m open for that too!).

I’m flexible on shifts (days, nights, weekends). If you work in the sector, know of openings, or can point me to companies currently hiring nursing students, I’d really appreciate it. Even a small lead helps. Kiitos :)

How do I find paid singing gigs in Helsinki?

Hei!

I’m a singer based in Helsinki, and I’m trying to find paid gigs, but I’m not sure where to start.
I mostly sing soft, slow, acoustic covers of Marias (“Sienna”), Radiohead (“Creep,” “No Surprises”), and similar indie/dream-pop styles and a few original music too. I enjoy performing intimate, mellow songs rather than upbeat pop.

I’d love to perform at cafés, wine bars, pubs, small venues, or private events. Does anyone know where musicians usually find paid gigs in Helsinki? Should I contact venues directly, join Facebook groups, use an agency, or is there another platform people recommend?
I’d really appreciate any advice from local musicians or venue owners. Kiitos!
