As the title says, I'm wondering what could potentially happen in the scenario if Gojo chose to delay expanding his domain in the early parts of his fight with Sukuna.

Sukuna and Gojo clash a total of 5 times: the first two where Gojo's barrier breaks first due to Malevolent Shrine attacking the barrier, the next two that last 3 minutes and 9 seconds where Gojo damages Sukuna enough to cause Malevolent Shrine to drop and Gojo's barrier breaking at the same time, and the final where Gojo expands his domain 0.01 seconds faster than Sukuna causing Unlimited Void to hit, but keep in mind by this point Mahoraga has adapted to destroy Gojo's domain.

If Gojo had waited to use his domain for one of these clashes, most probably the third or fourth, and instead fought Sukuna within Malevolent Shrine first before expanding his domain, could Gojo have damaged Sukuna enough to drop his domain before his own breaks?
