32NB Northeast US Looking for companionship!
Hi! I've figured out that I'm on the ace spectrum and it's been a great relief to not have to make up for something thst isn't there. I'd be just as happy having more ace friends that understand a bit of what I'm going through.
I'm Steph, I'm an obsessive reader and music nerd. It's hard to narrow down my favorite authors sometimes: Clarice Lispector, Sebald, Virginia Woolf, Dasa Drndic, and tons more. I love historical literature, books about artists, memory, interior worlds, family dramas, queer literature. I honestly just love books regardless of genre. I don't play as much as I used to, but I still love to play games. JRPGS, D&D Games, roguelikes, card games, sim games, shmups and retro games.
I also play guitar, bass and synths and love going to shows. Music is the same as reading to me in that I like something from every genre I've heard so far: general favorites are underworld, parquet courts, screaming females, mazzy star, Brian eno, boards of Canada, Sophie. I used to listen to new (to me) music all day long, so I can yap about a lot!
Love film and anime as well, just don't want to ramble too much here.
Currently going to grad school to become a speech therapist so that I can work in gender affirming care! Let's get to know each other!
