2 weeks post op

Hey, so I have just reached the two week stage of post op, going in for a bandage change today. I found that after maybe a week I didn;'t really need painkillers anymore and that the pain I was feeling is relatively similar to how it was before. Or just normal. is this typical? I will defo take painkillers before my bandage change but just wanted to know other peoples views.

Had surgery today and can't sleep

Just sharing. Had my surgery today to finally correct my left foot. I got local aneasthetic and a blocker this morning after general aneathetic. No pain at all until 7pm. I cannot sleep now. I took paracetamol, dihydrocodeine and ibuprofen and have my foot elevated and have some ice to cool. Is this just how the first night feels? It's not excrutiating it is just throbbing/ aching/ occasional sharp pain.Vaguely reminicent to how it would feel after a lot of running but a bit worse. Tho before i could sleep on my side with my right leg on top (which helped). Literally can't do that. Its cool my toe looks straighter and will match my right foot better :).

Edit: not sure if i used right flare initially i got a biplanar MT osteotomy skin and lateral release

Are there fun ways to learn anatomy and perspective?

Hey, so I have been drawing for a long time. I usually draw from my imagination, with some refs and photos of what im swwing in my mind. I always have done this but I want to level up my art, because I struggle somwtimes and then don't draw for ages. I think the best way is by leaening the foundarions of anatomy, perspective, and composition. I think the first two are maybe more essential at the moment.

For anatomy, I have been mostly doing timed gesture drawings. The outcome is sometimes very cursed (lol). I also draw over references to familiarise myself with drawing the body parts. However, when it comes to breaking down the skeleton and proportions, I get bored. It makes drawing feel like doing im doing math (idk if this makes sense). I have the same issue with perspective and drawing the cubes. Do I just need to power through? Or is there a more fun way to do it? Any helpful links or videos are appreciated.
