I will be moving to Florida this winter to work at Cape Canaveral. As a single guy, I’d really like to live near Orlando, perhaps an eastern Orlando town like Vista East.

Is commuting to Cape Canaveral from east Orlando doable?

Based on Google Maps it looks like it would be a 45min to 1 hour commute each way, which I’m not sure is an accurate estimate.
