All the references in these artworks:

  1. Churchill was nicknamed "The Bulldog". Moreover, the bulldogs originated in England, serving as one of their national emblems.

  2. FDR had a Scottish Terrier dog named "Fala" (1940-1952).

  3. Vladimir Lenin had a Red Setter named "Zhenka" during his exile in Siberia.

  4. Che Guevara's character is modeled after the Havanese Dog, the only breed of dogs originating in Cuba (even though he was born in Argentina).

  5. Einstein owned a fox terrier named "Chico", but I modelled him after a sheepdog, since their white fluffy hair better resembles his moustache and hairstyle.
