I made a post a couple months ago showing off Bluey toys that would release this summer and turns out there's more
Lots of figure sets, a big pack of fuzzies, some games, and a goofy looking granny squishmallow thing
The one who cried was the birthday girl (3) who was upset that she didn't get to open the final present (she'd spent the last few hours opening all the presents so was confused that there was a present for someone else).
Would defo do again. Make sure the kids know the rules before you start though or you'll have to start handing out $5 bills.
Any moments of the show that you actually think is a bad example for your kids when they watch?
The main one for me is during piggyback when the girls are smacking the tree with sticks, seems unnecessary.
But also when they chase Ibis'.
Who are some of your favorite characters that we only see once or a handful of times? Here are a few that I would have loved to see more of
I drew a few fan arts of Bluey's child. I know she's a girl, but she doesn't have an official name yet. What do you think?
I just rewatched relax with my son last night and it was funny to me to compare it to the Pool episode. In the pool bandit's lack of planning gets him in trouble and Chili's attention to the boring things saves the day.
In relax, Chili, who undoubtedly spent a lot of time planning this vacation, packing for the trip and organizing everything and then she can't get to the beach and enjoy herself. The focus is a lot more on the children's spontaneity versus bandits but he is the one who's able to sort of match their energy and just accept whatever they're doing. I just kind of like how the two episodes highlight different sides of parenting.
I think this is an animation test to be as accurate to the show and how the characters movie and interact with things. (yes the leaks are real and I don't understand why people believe they're not, it's just too complex for AI but I don't think it's fan-made)
Five episodes have been translated to Yolŋu Matha, a collection of languages found in Arnhem Land, Northern Territory, all available on iView.
Minor changes have been made to the script as well, for example, in Grandad, Bluey refuses to eat her green plums, instead of sunflower seeds. And in 'The Creek', Bandit warns of Ŋamini Baŋ’ Baŋ, a mythical creature who kidnaps children who refuse to sleep, which is great to learn about
Also, Ŋ/ŋ, is generally pronounced as a soft 'ng' sound, which you can hear throughout the episodes
I’m rewatching Trains with my kid and I’m wondering
The trains in the game supposedly run on the upper and lower level, the play room and kitchen being on the same level (right?) so Bandit is actually running/dealing with changing levels. i lived in a lot of major cities in the US so maybe our public transit works differently but
could you explain if there’s a joke in that they went multiple floors and didn’t explain it? Like how your trains work bc geography etc? (New York vs dc vs LA vs London is different sorry if im ignorant.)
