HELP!
For some reason I am horrible at building ships in SE, it’s just such a daunting task for me and every time I try I get stuck repeatedly. I’ve gotten this far on a ship I’d like to build in survival, just doing it in creative first. I’ve probably spent 4 hours only for this to be the result. The opposite side is the same, but there’s a hangar door below where the thrusters on this side are. I want to build 4 thruster batteries for the vertical thrusters and thats all I have for a plan going forward.
Obviously it’s not going to be gray when I’m done with it, but how on earth do I make this look better? Is it even salvageable? If not, are there some good resources out there for making functional, good looking ships for survival? Because I get caught up on it every time I play and it ends up killing the world I’m playing on.
Edit: Thank you all for your responses! Frankly I feel like this ship is a lost cause, so I’m likely going to just send it but keep in mind what I’ve read for my next ships. But atp, I’ve spent too long earthbound and I want to just send it and go to space with this one.
Edit 2: Someone asked if I needed an internal hangar, and I do! The hangar is probably the only thing I fully thought out before building this thing. Here’s a link since I cannot add a new image!
