The male sylvari armor scaling problem: is there an explanation for why it happens?
I think it's common knowledge that this point that 3D armor pieces like shoulders, gloves, long coats, and boots scale very weirdly on the male sylvari model. There are plenty of examples around, though this screenshot I found on the official forums from a couple years ago is especially egregious:
It feels safe to assume that this will never be fixed and is in fact unfixable, but one thing I can't find no matter how hard I search: why does it happen?
Has anyone been able to examine the mesh and see what's causing it? Has there ever been acknowledgment of it from ArenaNet at all? Honestly at this point I'm just curious, not looking for a fix or a workaround.
