Nervous about making the jump to HD
May 2024 - 235lbs
Started Wegovy and titrated up to 2.4 on schedule. Had minimal side effects. Minor nausea and vomiting with certain foods.
March 2025 - 190 lbs
Wavered between 185/195 since.
I asked provider this week about HD so we're going to try it, but I'm nervous about the huge jump. She has prescribed compounded at higher than 2.4, but not HD yet. I saw some people took two 2.4 pens at once but I only have 3 so it would be one week at 4.8 and then jumping to 7.2 and then I wouldn't have 2.4 as a backup if I just can't tolerate the dose.
I'm sure that testing showed the jump is fine, but I also know how lucky I am to not have had any real side effects and I feel like I'm playing with fire, but man, I need to jump start this loss again and the things I'm doing arent cutting it.
I know there are no right answers, I think maybe im just looking for some reassurance.
