Hey guys, I'm playing mage and in my VoD I realized I have no idea what totems are really important and what they can actually do for shaman.

I know there is:

- Grounding Totem: Redirects my spells
- Capacitator totem? Stuns
- Another lightning totem? Stuns
- Surging totem? No idea what that does

What else? And what should I destroy? Or just ignore?

Hey guys, I just realized I never used spellsteal. I guess it is due to the fact that I have absolutely no idea what is worth and what I am able to steal.

So what do you actively watch out for/what is important to steal (not everything that I would be able to)?

I am currently trying (frost) mage in shuffles. In 2v2s it was lots of fun, but now I am extremely overwhelmed by the choices I have and I realize I do not make really progression, cause if feels so random when I get a ray off or cc correctly.

Played warrior, rogue and ww monk (to 1.7k) until now, which feel like super straight forward in comparison.

So here is my cry for help: How do you guys even cast? Where should I start?

I know the general game plan: Try cc when on cd, try burst when healer is ccd etc etc.

For example: I try to sheep or RoF and then shoot my lances on the main target but they also hit the sheep lol. So you guys basically only use flurry and ray after sheep? Or position so well that it works out?

How do you

1. Position yourself
2. Keep track of kicks
3. Align this with constant dmg
4. Know when to burst
5. Do cc
6. Keep track of cc categories
7. Peel off everything
8. CS others
9. Def yourself

Sorry for the cry post, but it just seems so overwhelming and I have no idea where to start.

Sometimes I realize I stand there for a sec or two and think about "Sheep? RoF? Root? Dmg? Burst? Def? - Look at enemy healer cc/cds - time passes - then just burst, get kicked, def myself, do sth random, all feels random, I cry. Lol.

Hey guys, did they remove the public order? Can't find anyone for personal order for an hour now and I wonder if it's still possble to do it another way. Just care about pvp.

If I leave the recipient field free, it says "you need to enter a recipient" and I can't choose sth else in the dropdown field other than personal order. Thanks a lot!

On reset

Hey guys, whats the rule for Alter Time? I know it does not set back to the original health.

Just watched my VOD and I used it at ~77%, when it was resolved I got back to ~45-50%.

So: What influences it? I had a warrior on me who kept smashing, like 2 sec later I was on 45-50%.

Or does it count as healing and is thus substracted by the arena dampening?

Hey guys, I got sArenaReloaded and minicc (and couple of others) configured by skillcapped, and I recognized there is no icon for shadow dance uptime etc.

What add ons do you use / where do you config that? Already looed it up in mini cc but it seems I cant config it there (my own uptimes in center somewhere).

Hey guys, I have some trouble playing vs. bm hunter as either rogue or mage.

As rogue: When I cc/stun the hunter, the animals dont care - as far as I can tell. Also I can barely escape with that bleeding stuff on me.

What are the (best) tips of good rogues vs. those guys?

Same for mage: Can I even cc those animals? What is the plan here?

Hey guys, short question: Can I disarm during evasion? During Bladestorm?
I tried to look it up in my VODs but there is too much shit going on to see that. Google says I can disarm during evasion, but in the VOD it looks like I can't, but not sure.
Is there a general rule of when disarm is possible?

Hey guys, short question: If I wanna play sub, I need daggers, if I wanna play outlaw I need sword in mainhand, right?
This means, when I get the conquest tokens I have to decide if I wanna play sub or outlaw? Would be sad, cause I enjoy both :/. THanks!

Hey guys, I am using the skillcapped ui, installed all the add ons it recommended (actually really improved my experience in arena), but now I tried to level a new character and I cannot get the experience bar enabled again. I see it in edit mode, it is there in blue, but is just not visible outside of edit mode (it is on the screen in edit mode though, so I guess no graphics scaling problem). Someone knows about this?

Hey guys, one of you know how to enable sound effects again? It is activated and loud in options and it got lost when details add on threw some errors.

Went silent into arena, quite a new experience.

Not completely though, the music is still working, just not the sound effects.

I deactivated details, no sound. Activated it again, reloard, still no sound. Someone know this sound?

First it would be great to know: Is there really no other way to get stuff crafted other than send it to someone personal (or guild)?

Two days and many hours ago I did what I always do in case of uncertainty: Look what the top guys do and bought the heraldries for conquest to get that stuff.

Now (I'm still relatively new to that system) I tried to get it crafted and find someone who does that. I feel dumb asking that, but is it really like "LF crafter - item name - " in /2 chat?

Someone told me recipe is very expensive, but it's crazy that no one is answering, when this is the only way.

I just tried logging in as ally and found someone, but then forgot that I can't whisper him from Horde, logged back and he was off lol.

Any other tips? That is kinda annoying. I guess my hope is now that enough ppl are online on the weekend with that profession..

Btw I'm on Mal'ganis.
Update 2: The guy came back when I was trying to find somone on allyside again. Was actually funny: He seems to be rather young and had to switch screens because of his mum.
