Nitocris Alter conceals her insanity, though her intellect is sufficient to carry out a systematic execution of criminals, just as she did in the stories of her life. Her intelligence and capacity for language are fully intact and her physical abilities are only slightly enhanced. The Heroic Spirit is someone that cannot be summoned as a true Avenger. However, under very specific circumstances, she may gain an Alter Spirit Origin and be summoned as a unique Avenger with this Berserker class skill.

A portion of Anubis's Authority adapted into a skill. According to the Book of the Dead, Anubis weighs the hearts of the dead to measure their deeds in life. (Because its rank is degraded from the original Authority, using this skill will not destroy Nitocris's Spirit Core.)

Nitocris commits every fiber of her being to manifest the underworld on the earth's surface.

She temporarily materializes a gigantic Divided Spirit of Anubis, god of the death and the underworld, then enacts his merciless judgment and sentencing upon the earth. (This is an even more powerful Divided Spirit than the guardian statue of Anubis which appears when invoking her Noble Phantasm in her normal Spirit Origin.)

When Nitocris invokes Neferu Swen Anubis, sacred script fills the air as it does when she uses Desert Night Breeze. Perhaps it is a boon from the pharaohs of the Sixth Dynasty, a prayer to prevent her soul from being consumed by the might of Anubis and the underworld.

Character

Not only Altered, but partially deified, this is Nitocris with a heart of ice. The intensity of her infernal rage has largely diminished her emotions, granting Nitocris Alter a frigid sense of serenity.

After declaring herself a pharaoh of judgment, no hint of uncertainty clouds her demeanor. It is believed that this as a hypothetical version of Pharaoh Nitocris who took the monarch's path instead of committing suicide, now able to stand shoulder to shoulder with the other Heroic Spirit pharaohs.

In other words she's gotten a lot more confident. She's gotten so confident infact, that's she's started acting like an older sister or mother towards Pharaoh Ozymandias. (One can only imagine what Caster Nitocris was thinking when she saw that)

Attitude Towards Master

In truth she treats Master pretty much the same as in her Caster Spirit Origin.

A difference between the is that Nitocris Alter has a tendency to take pleasure in receiving gifts and tributes.

There's also a difference in how they refer to Master, with Caster Nitocris calling them "Ally" while Nitocris Alter calls them "Contractor"

Character

A mage queen who briefly ruled over ancient Egypt during the 6th Dynasty. Strangely, she shares the same name as the ancient queen of Babylon. She drowned all the people in power who murdered her beloved siblings, and after achieving her revenge, she committed suicide.

Judgment incarnate.

When her aspect as ‘Wrathful Executor of Divine Punishment’, something she possesses even in her standard form becomes exceptionally strong, Heroic Spirit Nitocris manifests into the world as an Alter. That is to say that Nitocris Alter is like the freezing wind that blows through the dark night of the desert.

She is not the pharaoh who rules the underworld as an avatar of the sky god Horus; she is instead the incarnation of Anubis, the very god of the underworld. Now she is both queen of the world below and pharaoh of the skies above.

She could never be summoned in normal human history.

When Nitocris confronted Camazotz in the South American Lostbelt, she sacrificed her heart to kill her sense of self, which erased from her identity the aspect of a pharaoh who committed suicide to repent for the crimes of her inability to save her brothers and killing her treacherous subjects. Her actions deviated and transformed her Spirit Origin into that of a queen of the Underworld...into an Avenger.

In her Altered Spirit Origin, Nitocris has gained many of Anubis's blessings. While she lacks a Divine Core, she possesses exceptional Divine Spirit aptitude and magical energy capacity on par with that of Divine Spirit Servants.

...That she is not a Divided Spirit of the god Anubis may be due to her personal attachment to the Sixth Dynasty of ancient Egypt.

Regular Weapons

According to Nitocris Alter, the god Anubis used the bandages created by the gods Isis and Nephthys to transform the deceased Osiris into a mummy because of that Nitocris Alters' Spirit Origin has manifested as a master of cloth who can wield these divinely created bandages at will.

Nitocris Alter describes Caster Nitocris as "weak", and that because of that she has no choice but to stay in the sun's light.

When all is said and done, this may well be an admission that ‘Nitocris’ was never meant to be in the dark underworld in the first place.

Comments from Illustrator

The initial concept for Nitocris Alter began with the idea of ‘inversion’, given that it’s an ‘Alter’ version, so I decided to make her hair white and cut her signature long hair short. Also, when I started working on the design, the ‘Great Egypt Exhibition’ was taking place in Ueno, so I drew on the impressions I gained there to create the clothes. I personally put a great deal of effort into the design and artwork, so it’s one of my favourites. (Shimaudon)
