This was much easier than I thought when first looking at it. The unusual piece shapes make starting with the border a bit cumbersome because it is so long and it doesn't lock together nicely in some areas, so I just started on the left side with the words and red foliage and worked my way to the right skipping that large green patch in the upper right for the very last.

The most neglected puzzle in my entire collection finally completed after more than 20 years! Blocklets of Chocolates - Springbok - 1000 pieces

I got this puzzle originally from a puzzle swap some 20 years ago with former co-workers. It was one of three puzzles, and I did the other two right away, but I never got around to this one. Then shortly afterwards I left that old job and moved, and it got packed away in storage for several years. Then when I moved into my current house, I mistook it for another Hershey puzzle that I have and so it got incorrectly stored with the "already done" puzzles. And there it stayed undone for all those years.

Finally last year I started redoing all my old puzzles and cataloguing what I have in my collection, and this old puzzle popped its head up after decades of hibernation. And now I finally did it! It was actually a pretty easy puzzle. I started with the green and blue "blocklets" (see progress photo), then moved on to the yellow and purple, ending with those reds and pinks at which point I was just dropping pieces in. It was a really fun puzzle. I love a good old-school Springbok. It's a shame I hadn't done it sooner!

Personal record set... for missing pieces! Over the River - Dowdle - 500 pieces - Art by Eric Dowdle

I saw this in the thrift store and I was excited because I know there's a companion puzzle that goes with it (Through the Woods) and you can make them into one bigger image with the two puzzles side by side. Unfortunately as you can see, this one was missing 8 pieces. Ugh. Oh well.

This is the other Naturelish puzzle that I recently bought second-hand. I'm torn because I really did enjoy doing the puzzle, and the pieces were nice and sturdy and had interesting shapes. But I won't get more of this brand because it's all AI generated. This piranha puzzle was a lot easier than the Alien World puzzle we did last week. Me and my friend finished the piranhas in just over 4 hours, whereas the alien puzzle took 3 hours longer! Huge difference!
