VRT just sorted

Just to update people on the current status of the above, nothing really has changed but will go over it again in case my details help anyone.

-Car is a 2025 single owner from new car from Northern Ireland and I brought it in myself. Over 6k km so should qualify for nil VRT.

-V5 had the owners details sorta blacked out so VRT asked for it to be sent off to Revenue for confirmation. He said that he has set conditions that he can pass it right there but any deviation has to get Revenue approval.

-i sent off detailed pics of V5 and proof of it being only registered in NI; dealer book, dealer key chain, dealer first inspection.

-2.5 weeks later Revenue came back and all good to go.

-1 week later I had my VRT appointment and paid my 14e.

Now just to buy the plates and tax it tomorrow.

SX2e Light on

Hi all, just started using my 2025 model and noticed last night when letting the dogs out that there was a light on on the dash. Pic shows which one. Is this normal? Car was off, locked and charging.

Tailgating sucks

Coming out of a 60kmph zone up a bit of a hill and the bike isn't quick. I commute on a little 125 and this is usually the part of the road where I encounter these dickheads. It's why my wife doesn't want me to ride. Not sure if I actually got to give him the finger or if he passed too quick before it.

Edit: for everybody saying I should've let him pass, sure if on a long straight and not turning off. Moving into the hard shoulder, on a bend+hill on a national speed limit road and then moving back out when I'm turning off in 1 km has too many variables. I'm literally in his way for less than a minute and on this road everyday but his driving stood out.

Edit 2: not sure do car drivers know the stopping distances but at 85kmph his reaction time of 1.5s is 35m. He was less than 20m away from me or 4 yellow hard shoulder strips. 2s rule says he should be nearly 2.5 times that in the dry. It was wet so 4s rule should apply.
