Advice on how to replicate these little flares floating around her head in Three Colors: Blue

Hi there, just to preface, I'm a director starting some very early planning on my next short I hope to shoot in January. I recently watched Three Colors: Blue for the first time (loved it) and this moment really struck out to me. My DP and I were planning to use light near the end in specific ways to evoke a specific feeling, though that would be more of an editing trick by using artificial film burns we would shoot in a dark room through a glass and then double expose over the footage shot. My thought after watching the film though was we could do something like this as a tease used earlier in the film by having lightly dancing flares like these appear during specific moments in the short.

My question is, for anyone that has scene the film, how did they make these suddenly appear without cutting away or adding any noticeable lighting change into the frame? Is it perhaps it's own double exposure or am I just being dumb and it's as simple as shining a small light that didn't change the lighting of the scene much into the lens from like above or below? My apologies if it's obvious, I'm just not finding it with a few different searches. Or if anyone doesn't quite know exactly how they did this, I would be happy to hear alternative solutions for a similar lighting effect.

I couldn't simply find the scene as it plays in the film with music and whatnot online, but did find it in this analysis video. If the timestamp link doesn't work, the shot starts at 1:41.

Would gladly appreciate any help or insight!

What style of shirt is this?

I work retail, and its been extremely hot all summer. I like to wear a button up (unbuttoned) while at work and I'd like to finally get some short sleeve shirts to wear out. I also want to be a little braver and wear more patterns and just expand my wardrobe with more than shirts where I roll up the sleeves or sweaters in the winter.

All that said, I don't want to buy something from some clothing company on Instagram, I know the majority of clothes advertised on there will be some cheap, fake company probably in China or something. I didn't even want to click the link which is why I screenshot them. I really like the look of these, but don't want to buy these or from this place. Does anyone know the name of this style of shirt or where I can buy something similar that is more legitimate? Or just a similar term for a shirt like this where its thin, breezy fabric.
