Real estate professionals: how would you approach this market?

I’ve been working in real estate in Quintana Roo, Mexico for about 1.5 years, mainly with high-end residential land.
One thing I’ve noticed is that many potential buyers seem more interested in finished properties than buying land and building a high-end home themselves.

So I’m curious, for those working in other markets, is this something you’ve experienced too?
And for investors: would you consider buying a high value residential lot in a developing area, or would you rather buy a finished property with an existing rental strategy?

Did you know real estate advisors in Quintana Roo need a license? 🇲🇽

In Quintana Roo, real estate advisors can obtain a Matrícula and Acreditación through SEDETUS. https://sedetus.qroo.gob.mx

I completed a 6-month professional diploma as part of the process to become accredited, and I’m officially registered as a real estate advisor in the state.

I think it’s important for buyers and investors to know who they’re dealing with when purchasing property in Mexico.
