Wouldn't Ryuk know if someone came into Light's room and put cameras? In that episode we see Light come home (alone) not attached to Ryuk for some reason and then when he enters his room, Ryuk greets him, as if he just saw him that day and was hanging out in the room the whole time. Maybe its just something the writers didn't care about or I missed but doesn't Ryuk always trail light? and if not, if he was just hanging out in the room, why didn't he know if the cameras were put there?
