Hi all- The first and only time I had ever passed out from a blood draw was two years ago in 2024. It was bad the nurse got the needle out of my arm but I fell face first onto the floor and got a concussion. Since that incident I refuse to be sitting up for a blood draw. My anxiety is through the roof even when I try to calm my breathing. Laying down on the table I still am trembling and have a visceral reaction when I feel the needle pinch. I just don’t know the best way to work through these emotions. I know since I’m lying down I won’t be falling onto the floor. Although I still have an immense fear of passing out and hitting my head. My family just thinks I’m being over dramatic which also doesn’t help. I feel like I just need some better coping strategies. Any tips appreciated
