Update on the ThinkBox
I made this in OpenScad and it’s not perfect but it will do. I printed this enclosure in PETG so it’s super durable.
Might need to add some more ventilation for the CPU with a soldering iron to melt some little vents into the base.
I also need to procure some 2.5 motherboard standoffs to mount it the enclosure. The enclosure is also a had a lot of flex to it so I will be reinforcing some vital points of it when some metal scrap.
But it does run now. I will be using Linux Mint with Kodi for my media player. If you have any recommendations for customizing my Kodi pages please let me know, this is all new to me!

8gb ram
Ps. Is Linux mint cinnamon the best OS to be using for these specs? Is there something more lightweight that I should try instead?
If it boots, then it can game…
Im installing Linux Mint on this to revive it. I am 3d printing a new headless case for it. I will turn this into a tv box unit. Even the guts of a Thinkpad refuse to die
Was a Thinkpad Yoga 370

Used buying advice, X13 gen 4?
I’m looking for a unicorn X13 with a Ryzen 7 7840u, 16gb of ram and a touch screen if possible. I am just unable to find one at all online.
I love the 13.3 FHD form factor. Having 100% SRGB is a nonnegotiable for me. I just want something for web surfing and light indie games, hence why the X13 with the R7 7840u checks all my boxes.
Is there any alternatives in the 700 dollar price range to explore? I do not want Intel Iris XE at all. Having Radeon 780m would be amazing for me.
Also, the Lenovo Slim 7i aura edition seems too good to be true because it checks all my boxes, but I’m concerned about build quality.
