The sub was meant to be a place for women to vent together about beauty standards or mistreatment due to looks, but it became such a misogynistic cesspool, it's becoming clearer and clearer that the reason they're alone and unloved is because of how ugly they're on the inside.
Constantly attacking other women, making fun of them or claiming they deserved bad things happening to them because they're "pretty", telling SA victims that they should feel lucky because getting assaulted/catcalled/raped meant they were "desired" and that talking about it in front of women who never were is "bragging", being dismissive of the experience of autistic/neurodivergent women, harassing and calling users who mentioned having a boyfriend before male-centered when their entire worth is based on whether men give them attention or not, dismissing said partnered women when talking about their life problems because "you cannot be depressed/lonely/poor if you're pretty enough to have a bf", making up stories about them to justify insulting them, etc.
I left a comment saying pretty much this and me and everyone else who said something similar got permabanned with a message simply saying "womp womp", with the mod then accusing me of "letting men use your body for validation" for mentioning I've been in relationships before (when I didn't even sleep with them and am still a virgin lmao, and even if I had how is being in a consensual relationship "being used"?)
I'd expect comments like this from misogynistic incel subs but all this vitriol against other women coming from women themselves is honestly fucking wild, the true ugliness is coming from inside the house.
