Double hip replacement advice

hello, I have had a lovely lady book a Reformer 1-1 with me, she has had both hips replaced recently.

She has done a lot of Reformer pilates in the past but not for the past few years due to her hips

she wanted to give it a go again privately before she jumped into a class which I love!

I was planning on going through the basics with her again, taking it easy and just seeing how things feel and how strong she is.

is there any movements you would recommend? or any you would suggest I avoid? If she hadn't done it before I wouldn't be second guessing myself in some ways and just start from the ground up but I don't want her to not feel challenged or anything.. so yes any tips would be fab! thanks

Can anyone recommend any pilates retreats?

I hear people go on pilates and yoga retreats a lot, I have been doing pilates for 10 years and teaching for just over a year and I have never been on one!

I am from the UK, I just googled it and feel a bit overwhelmed. Does anyone have any they recommend? even wellness retreats that include pilates?

Thank you!

Feel like I've made another stupid decision 😭

last year I dropped some classes at the main gym I work at to go and work at a small independent studio (paid more) and it bit me in the arse and it ended up closing and it was a whole thing.

I have been working for my friend in her small gym in her house for months just doing a couple of mat classes.

She just opened a small reformer studio and offered great pay, great location, she is a great business woman too so I had a lot of confidence.

I stupidly let go of a few classes else where ( I was thinking about doing this anyway not going to lie) but it's been a week and some of my classes are not filling. I had a full class on Tuesday and none of them have transferred to next week 😭 I have another full class today but I can't lie I'm so anxious. I hate being pushy for them to join/rebook and come back as I appreciate Reformer isn't the cheapest thing and you have got to really love it and the method and how it makes you feel.

I feel like I just keep making these mistakes and loosing money... and I have two kids and a mortgage 😭 it's only been a week or so that this studio has opened so I appreciate I need to give it time but the opening was so positive and I met so many keen people. the other instructor has had people book on with her again and I can't help but feel paranoid it's me. I can't help but compare myself.

at the gym I have worked at for years all of my classes are full so I think this is a bit of rejection therapy maybe haha

I know I need to wait it out but I was so excited for the extra income...

Talk me off the edge guys 😭
