If the next patch isn't a 'perfomance only' patch, what the f are we even doing anymore?

How is it acceptable that we're 3 months in and almost every single weekly patch has noticeably hindered perfomance?

At release, I was getting a smooth 60 fps on Ultra/Epic settings with FG and dlss set to quality.

It is now closer to 30 fps with dips into 20s with those same exact settings.

When will the games perfomance be a priority? At this point I'm half-expecting to be able to express my cats anal glands in-game before getting a smooth 60fps again.
