[IWantOut] 28M Japan -> Canada

I am a 28-year-old Japanese male with three years of experience as a cloud engineer, and I want to immigrate to Canada. Given this situation, which of the following options should I choose? My priority is securing a job. I have continued working as an engineer with that goal in mind, but with the bursting of the IT bubble, it feels like the tech market is contracting. Therefore, rather than sticking with this career path, I would prefer to pursue a more rational alternative if one exists.

  1. Use a Co-op program to work as a cloud engineer.

  2. Use a Co-op program to work as an electrician.

  3. Use a Co-op program to work as a truck driver.

  4. Work for another two years to reach five years of experience before using a Co-op program.

Looking for Buddies for GameDev!!

I’m currently learning Godot with the goal of developing games! I want to acquire the skills to create various types of games—both 2D and 3D—and eventually release them on Steam. I’m looking for someone to learn alongside! Whether it’s working as a team or developing independently while regularly sharing progress updates, I’m just looking for a partnership that helps us both stay motivated.
