Baby Jogger City Turn

A few reviews of seatbelt fraying, per the reviews on the Baby Jogger website. Does anyone have any similar experiences? Or anyone have thoughts on this? It is worrisome to see this trend of reviews in the last 12 months. The seat itself looks so comfy, that I was kinda leaning towards this...

Reviews pasted from the site:

I've had this for a little more than a year and the straps frayed. I couldn't figure out what caused it. Then I looked up other reviews and found tha this is common on these. They don't even sell replacement straps. Pretty absurd for a $500 car seat.

Beyond disappointed with the quality of this seat, as well as professionalism of customer service. I regularly get our seats deep cleaned through a local company, and this recent time, we noticed some fraying on the straps (usually companies will replace straps that are damaged) but apparently baby jogger does not. They offered me an $80 rebate, if I purchase another seat through them & send in the receipt. I paid over $500 for this seat, it should safely last longer than 2 years without fraying on the base of the harness straps. The representative tried implying my son may have maxed out the weight limit (he’s 3 & 38 pounds)

I have loved this seat for 18 months. It was our saving grace when we were struggling to find a seat our grandbaby would sit in without screaming the entire time. This was our 4th carseat purchase in 6 months and I thought we'd be set for many years of use. Unfortunately, we discovered the harness on the lower part has begun to fray. I can't trust this to protect my child, so now I have to buy a whole new seat. This isn't, or wasn't used daily. I only have him once or twice a week. I invested in a more expensive seat because I thought the price reflected safety and dependability. I regularly inspect the belt path, but I don't get a flashlight and peep in the internal mechanism. If you have this seat, you should expand your inspection because you may be as surprised as I was to find hidden damage. I sent a message to customer service on Friday afternoon and haven't heard from them yet. I'm giving grace because it's the weekend, but we have an urgent need. If the belt can be replaced I'd happily pay to have one sent next day delivery. I can't even figure out if that's an option. His safety is important enough that I just went ahead and bought another convertible carseat and we aren't going anywhere until it arrives. (Another high end brand with equivalent price point)

Convertible and comfortable extended RF car seat options?

Ok, I need help y'all. I have been deliberating for a while. I have looked at so many different options. What are your reccs for extended RF, convertible to booster, and bonus if they are rotating?

I think top ones I am looking at is Evenflo 360 green and safe, vs Britax 360 galaxy (but this is noted to be too reclined). Also I am preferring whatever gives baby the most comfortable seat in terms of padding too/legroom.

I did consider some others like Nuna and Baby Jogger, but either they miss the 360, or are not convertible to booster later, and I just don't know if I can justify the cost issue.

What else is 360/or swivel, with RF to 50 lb, and has the extended life to booster later? I have a toyota sienna, so space should be ok. I have a tall kiddo, 32 inch at 16 months only, and also tends to run hot. Cost is not a problem either.
