Easiest Elective Classes

Hello everyone,

I am wondering what classes you all recommend on taking that are the easiest and simplest.

For context, I will be graduating next semester and only have 2 remaining classes for my major. For my scholarship, I have to maintain full time status with a 12 minimum credit hour per semester.

Looking on taking two of the easiest classes possible to meet this requirement. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thank you

Rheem Heat Pump

Good morning,

I am having an issue currently with my Rheem Heat pump and would like some advice on the next steps I should take.

For some needed context, last fall our house was hit with an electrical surge and our unit took a beating. The electrical board and fan motor on the indoor air handler along with the heat pump’s board and condenser fan motor all had to be replaced by Company A. Had no issues over the winter

This spring comes around and I switch the system to cool. It would start cooling and once it satisfied the temp, a “Call for service” would appear on the communicating thermostat along with “check heat pump”. I would look at the board on the heat pump and it would have a “L29” or high pressure sensor lockout. If I would restart the breaker, the system would clear.

I call Company A, and they are very busy and don’t seam to understand where to look. They said they think it’s the thermostat. So I called company B, they had a tech come out look it over and then said your high pressure temp sensor is bad. Quoted me over $500 for this repair. I accepted it and after he does the repair, the tech says your condenser fan motor doesn’t spin on “low” stage cooling only on “high”. He thinks that’s why I’m getting the high pressure lock out.

He believes company A installed and non-OEM single stage fan motor that isn’t working right with my system. I am frustrated as I wish he told me that earlier before spending $500+ on a sensor that’s seams like it didn’t need replacing. Now company B is quoting me $1800+ to fix replace this fan motor or over $9000 for a whole system replacement.

At this point my wife and I have already put up to $2000+ of repairs into this unit. Im frustrated with both companies for not doing their due diligence on troubleshooting. Is this time for total replacement? Or should I keep perusing company A or B to fix this issue? Or perhaps going with a different company?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Navy Flight School RV Living

Hello everyone,

My wife and I (we have no kids, just two dogs) are planning to move to Pensacola, FL next year when I start flight school as a SNA. We’re considering downsizing and living in an RV during training to avoid the constant stress of packing/unpacking, breaking leases, and losing money on non-refundable pet deposits.

I’ve heard some people in the pipeline have done this. Has anyone here tried RV living while going through flight school? Would you recommend it or not?

I’m open to any thoughts or experiences. Thanks for your input!
