Everyone knows Grow Sciences is one of the best brands we have.

I have seen the 2 gram jars here and there for a few months but I hadn’t been able to get my hand on one until today.

This overall was amazing. Lots of thca, a nice amount of terps to go along with it and the effects were amazing.

This is a definite buy if you see it. It’s a nice change up from their other consistencies of live resin.

Yesterday I saw a special on The Inventing Rooms Rosin. After hearing master_labs strong recommendation for the brand, I knew I had to get some.

This is some of the best rosin I’ve ever had. That’s why I didn’t mark this as a review, this is a recommendation. If you like high end rosin, I think you’ll love this brand too.

As soon as I opened this jar I knew I was off to a great start. The product looked great and the smell was amazing! My girlfriend said it was the best smelling jar she had ever smelt and I agree!

It’s got a tropical smell to it with a bit of citrus. The smell alone had me sold this was going to be good.

Then I dabbed it…and wow! This smokes great. The flavor comes through really well and it was a really smooth dab.

The effects are amazing. They are what you would expect from mimosa but this live rosin really brought out all the terps and I enjoyed that a lot.

Master_lab described Jacob (the owner) as a Willy Wonka of Rosin and after trying this I have to agree. The fact that this is a small batch run, it’s made differently from most, and the way the terps were preserved make this a must buy.

9.5/10. This is some amazing stuff and I’ll definitely be saving some for a special occasion.

I’ve read some threads on here with others talking about how the Switch 2 would cause coughing fits and wheezing and asthma attacks for some.

Well this was happening to me too, and this is how I fixed it:

I intially loved the Switch 2 out of the box but it was rough on my lungs, then came the wheezing, I thought I might have to shelf my Switch 2, I thought forsure I just couldn’t use it.
None of my Puffco devices ever caused this.

Well I’m here to say it gets better!! But you have to upgrade it.

Here’s the list of upgrades I made to make my switch 2 my daily driver and to get rid of the coughing/wheezing.

- Sapphire Insert
- Incycler from DD
- Cloud Vortex 21 Carb Cap
- Terporioum Sapphire 6mm Terp Balls

I know this is a lot guys.

It sucks that it took all this to make the difference but it did. It made all the difference in the world.

I would recommend changing all at once but I did the insert and the incycler first and used the stock carb cab upside down (it’s the last photo) and that helped a lot, but the cloud vortex carb cap completely solved my issue.

The other alternative for me was to shelf a $400 device I loved but was hurting my lungs. After making these upgrades I’m back to using this as my daily driver and can smoke 3-4 dabs in a row with no lung issues whereas before I could barley do 2.

I also have the Calibear Klein Recycler too but that’s still a bit harsh on my lungs for those having these specific issues I would strongly recommend the official Dr. Dabber Incylcer.

UPDATE: After thinking about what someone else commented about it being actual asthma attacks I am going to get tested tmrw to see if my asthma I had as a kid is back. If that’s the case I will gladly admit this post was stupid and unnecessary. I will let you guys know.

I have been impressed by Grassroots lately. This is just another one to add to the list to buy again.

Citradelic Haze looks exactly how I hoped it would, it has that beautiful color to it and an amazing texture. Overall very visually appealing.

The taste was nice, but the effects are why I’m writing the reviews. This burned very nice and was easy on the inhale and exhale but jeez does it hit nice. Effects were uplifting, energetic and creative with some nice tunnel vision to it.

it’s not top shelf live resin like people expect from GDL or GS but it is good stuff and I think had a much more appealing price tag to it.

8.5/10 I would recommend and buy again.

Varz makes great live resin and good rosin as well, I think most of us can agree they are pretty solid. However I had been eyeing their cured line and had the opportunity to pick one up at a great price earlier today.

The dates are a bit older but I didn’t care, I wanted to try it and it looked good in the jar.

Rainbow Glitter Haze appears to be one of Varz in house strains and they haven’t released the genetics so anything I say here would be speculation.

Interestingly Varz didn’t handle the manufacturing of this themselves like they do their other products I’ve had. They used Varz flower but handed it over to IO Extracts to handle the rest.

Two odd things came to my attention when looking at the COA link. First off the dates on the COA and Box are correct but they got the year wrong on the google doc the QR code takes you too and where I saw the starting material. Second, they didn’t test for terpenes?? Has anyone seen this before? Please chime in below, the COA link will be at the bottom.

I’m going to dismiss the manufacturing date being over a year ago and the missing terpenes test when I do this review.

Out of all the cured I tried, Uncle X, Grassroots, Canamo, etc, this is up there as one of the best cured I have had. At least on first impressions. The effects were really nice and had me relaxed and it erased my mind. The haze added some energy but it settled into a nice indica high after some time but I didn’t feel tired or couch locked.

Overall, even with it being “old” I really liked this, If you see it, it’s worth the grab.

I’d give it a 9/10 for a Cured Resin.

After seeing master_labs posts talking about Vortex and how he was really happy with their Z Marker, I had to try Vortex’s LR for myself.

For those who don’t know Vortex dropped their LR line at Truelieve over the weekend. Currently at my location, they have 4 strains available: Bolo Marker, Z Marker, Donny Burger, and Bergamot.

Bolo Marker was the only one on their menu as of last night, you’ll have to ask for the other 3.

I personally love the Z marker but I feel like master_lab already did a great review on it and I don’t have anything to add other than it’s my favorite between the two so I’ll just leave the link to his post here:

On to the Donny Burger!

Best of Phoenix 2025 so I was expecting a lot from this strain.
Typically it’s a cross of Han Solo Burger and GMO Cookies.

However I attached the screenshot from Vortex’s website showing their Donny Burger is (GMO x [Larry OG x GMO]) but it’s the same thing. Larry OG x GMO create Han Solo Burger.

It’s rare to see them manufacture a concentrate the day after it was harvested but I’m not complaining! It’s definitely fresh.

Texture: It whipped together really nicely. It was a lot wetter than I first thought. The first photo is after I whipped it up.

Taste: It had a nice gas taste on the exhale but it was subtle. It’s hard to describe as it wasn’t the strongest even using the sapphire insert on the switch 2.

Effects: The effects were nice and what one would expect, it provided a nice euphoria experience before leading into a relaxing body high. This one didn’t knock me out but expect to fight some couch lock.

Smell: Again this is subtle, it’s got a little gas smell to it but it’s not super strong. It’s got other flavors to it but I’m having trouble deciphering it. Overall it’s a nice smell but hard to describe.

I was worried about Vortex after seeing the Bolo Marker but after trying the Donny Burger and Z Marker for myself, I will admit these are damn good. I prefer the Z marker more just bcs of the effects but for fans of the Donny Burger strain, I think you’ll really enjoy this one.

Vortex knocked these out of the park, I’m really happy to have a new premium LR brand to add to my rotation.

When I first saw Alchemy, I did some research and quickly realized it was likely Grow Science behind it. Looking at the COA after buying, you can see that it is indeed GS producing it.

I will start this by saying that I wanted to like this brand. Flashbang is one of my favorite GS strains but the cured version wasn’t anywhere near as good.

Background:
Wzrds tagline is literally “discover the alchemy”. Most of us already knew Wzrd was GS way of producing cured resins similar to how SOL handles Uncle X and Copperstate. However unlike Unlce X who has proven that it is possible to make high quality budget cured resin, Alchemy dropped the ball entirely.

Into the strain reviews:

I’m just going to combine the two reviews because what I have to say about each is the same.

Flashbang/ Laughing Gas Budder-

Looks- It was interesting to see a product so bricked up. It has been years since I’ve seen any cured resin quite like this.

Smell- Honestly it’s hard to describe, they both smell the same, and it’s not good. We all know what bad
concentrates smell like, that smell of trim and butane.
That’s what I’m getting out of both of these.

Burn- In both the puffco and the dd switch 2 the product burned dark and harsh. I’m used to q tips coming out with a yellowish color or slightly darker. These q tips came out basically black.

Taste- Decent, like the smell, it wasnt very pleasant but wasn’t the worst I smoked. It wasn’t very enjoyable on the inhale and the exhale was harsh on both.

Effects- The effects were there but it was almost like I ripped a disty pen, the feelings weren’t great and a slight headache followed.

Overall-

1/10 and even that is being generous.

For the price, this is not worth it. Even at 90off I still wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. It’s really disappointing to see a company as good as GS try to do cured resins not once but twice and to fail miserably both times.

Matthew if you read this, I love your GS products but get some samples from Uncle X or even Grassroots and figure out how to do cured resins right.

I think it’s really sketchy that a company would try to slide this product by us as a new great brand when really Wzrd failed miserably so they created Alchemy to get a second shot at the cured resin game.

If you’ve tried this brand let me know your thoughts and if you haven’t, consider yourself lucky and stay away!

This one stuck out as exceptionally well for me. I’ve become a big fan of Uncle X lately but this LR was a nice change of pace.
2.5g jar of Marmalade. Harvested 2 months ago. Manufactured End of July, it likey just hit shelves recently as I hadn’t seen it before today.
Super terpy and overall a nice badder. 8/10 would buy again.
I figured I’d support Pondy while they’re still around.
