I started this journey knowing pretty much nothing. Now I’ve built countless systems, reworked things a billion times and it’s just insane to look back at all the work I’ve put in learning everything.

Still have so many things to learn and mess around with along with building out the rest of the map.

Looking for experienced world builder

Hey everyone! Been developing an open world MMORPG for quite a few months now and starting to realize the scope is quite large for one person so I wanted to see if there’s any builders experienced within the RPG realm to help build out the world. As you can see with the video I’m looking for someone who specializes in more low-mid poly building. If you’re interested send me a DM!

Also, I’ll soon be looking for animators to help with replacing a few of the skilling animations as well but I’ll make a post when I get there

Reliable ways to beat combat server validation lag?

Hey guys! I’ve revamped combat in my game too many times to count but it still seems to feel clunky due to server validation damage calculation and was curious if anyone has found any reliable ways to counteract this even if it’s to fake it client side or even tweening HP loss on the mobs HP bar

Another side note bug I’ve been battling on n off for the better part of a month is random mobs falling through the floor. I’ve checked collisions numerous times along with my Mob AI script (for mobs to wander) and everything seems to check out besides having to unanchor for mobs to wander at idle so any pointers or tips in this area would be extremely helpful! (Only other thing that I could think of would be hitting a slight hiccup due to streaming enabled while mobs are persistent so wondering if maybe parts of the terrain are unloading causing mobs to no longer have a floor to stop them from falling?)
