If making a game would cost me 10 bucks then what's the point? What if the game never goes popular???

I've been a game dev for over 5 years and have made many games. I've been working on a project with my dev team for the past year and now it's not confirmed if the game will even succeed.. What's worse is that the game is r6 and we will get paid less for our work.

And I still remember the time they forced us to change from that classic to modern ui, I still can't get used to jt

it feels like a lot of the roblox game development is asyms (the 1v8 kind). it comes to a point where they all seem to similar with each asym having almost no differnece in gameplay.

Like a couple of hours ago, my testers told me that they can't access the game. I checked the game's settings and everything, and it's literally the same as before, but they can't access it at all. I tried using the default Roblox group role feature ranking some people as "Testers" to see if they could access the game or not and it seems like they genuinely can't. This is so bad. Has anyone else noticed this? I'm pretty sure this isn't something on my side.

It's likely not possible as they make a ton of money every day from their games.

However, these Roblox updates may soon come after them (PLS DONATE is pretty much already done for)

The 500 engaged player update is crazy. My game has 37k visits. Guess the number of "engaged players". 40.

I remember the Reddit protest where subreddits went offline.

If the top trending games do this, it may help.

If you are in contact with any big devs, try to get them on board with this. With no games for people to play, Roblox will go into panic mode.

Started roblox development not to long ago (a months ago) and right now im trying to make a game solo and putting around 1 - 2 hours a day in on development everyday (it can be longer as i got a check list once i finish that thing on the checklist im done fore the day but average is 1-2 hours).

In which my friend got in an argument in which he was saying 1-2 hours per a day wasnt that much time so im curious how yall more experienced developers or anyone creating a game work per a day

so I've been seeing a lot of upcoming artists who voice act in a variety of new Roblox games and watching that grow is truly mesmerizing, but growing up with a love to voice act, I'd like to do that myself but I never had a professional experience with voice acting its all just small lines from well known characters in front of my friends and family, and have loved to practice voice acting in many ways so I'm kind of experienced , so my question is.. where can I find a place where Roblox game developers (or possibly any indie game developers) search for voice actors.. I'd like to start working on that part and try to be in a game one day, if anyone has any advice or knows a magical place with lots of voice actors, tell me and thank you !

So basically im building a roblox game and im not to good im learning quite a lot but definitely not a pro , im trying to think about what the game is gonna be about . I want it to feel retro , classic with like the stud floors maybe and it feels like prime roblox in like 2010 to 2014 something realy simple but fun , no gamepasses , no money involved ,just pure game and fun . Hey I was just curious how people become investors? Like you pay someone 40k robux for 10% of their game earnings. how can you be 100% they will give you the % or wont remove you after 3 days?
