A dastardly destroyed looking drone is wandering about in an odd sort of trance. He’s in awe about the idleness of his life currently.

In other words the man is bored out of his goddamned mind.

Two Billion Dollar Man (repost because interactions would be GREAT-)

The first sign was a very low rumble high above the dark snow clouds. The sound was droning and constant, getting nearly lost in the wind. At first, it would be easy to ignore but it quickly grew louder. The metallic groan overpowering even the gales of wind that whooshed and whistled through the hills and buildings on the planets surface. The screech of steel and the crackling boom of the atmosphere getting torn to fiery whisps of gas was soon the only thing that could possibly be heard on the surface.

A small sun appeared and quickly began to make its way towards eventide accompanied by the horrid soprano opera before smashing into the rock and snow. The shockwave and explosive cacophony ending almost as soon as it started. In the wake of the announcement, was left a massive mangled mess smouldering in the snow.

The impact into the snow and ground had put out much of the hull-fire but the wreckage was still visibly hot with soft shimmering waves emanating from the mangled mess. It was- upon closer inspection- less of a pod made to preserve someone in the incident of a crash, but some large-ish container that had come out with a portion of the wall.

Massive yellow lettering that read “Mephistopheles” clashed with the dull purple of the rest of the paintjob. The soft spillage of the contents that were once neatly sorted in the belly of the space-hopping beast was tragic. Most items were small and inconsequential. Most of it seemed to be boxes upon boxes of blue bottles of mouthwash and even more reams of paper and spools of plastic for use in 3d printers.

There were one or two large items, however. They were crated-up in steel boxes with words that read “This end up,” “Fragile,” “Magnetic field, stay ten feet back,” and “Heat-Based electronics, keep temperature-controlled.” Some looked dented, but all were in fair condition. The oddest sign was on the tallest box. The instructions on this one simply read “High priority. Keep powered at all times.” This would prove to be an issue seeing as it had fallen away from any power-source that it was previously hooked up to.
