IVE BEEN CARRYING THIS STORY FOR ALMOST 50 YEARS.
First of all, I’m zero days old in finding out this is a thing that many people have experienced. I had no idea this was a phenomenon so now I’m trying to find out what the fuck happened.
My story is pretty simple. I was between 6-8 yrs old. I lived in this big Victorian home and was afraid to sleep upstairs when my parents were down. We had a spare bedroom on the first floor next to the TV room so I’d sleep there.
One night asleep in that room something suddenly felt off, like there was a person in the room/ that I was being watched.
I remember laying there perfectly still- listening to whatever or whomever was coming closer. I opened my eyes and there standing over my bed was a man…. Now, the lights were off but I could see. To me he looked almost green. Very gaunt. Very pointy facial features. Pointy cheekbones, pointy chine. His eyes even kinda felt pointy. He was smiling at me and everything about him felt wrong. He felt dangerous. I tried to scream and couldn’t. I kept screaming and screaming. Finally I stated making enough noise to leave me alone.
I was finally able to get my voice back and he walked back and faded into the darkness. Wtf is that?
