Ticket advice

Hey everybody,

I have two tickets to the preseason game against the saints. Had something come up and I’m not going to be able to go, so gonna be offering them for sale.

Never sold tickets before, so curious what some good recommendations are for marketplaces. I get conflicting reports about FB.

Making new friends

Hi fellow Orange County inhabitants,

I’m making this post on behalf of my wife. TLDR; she’s desperate for new friends/activities, but struggles to find new people to meet. Well, other women specifically. Feel free to read on if you’d like…

To put it into more perspective; we recently had our first child and he is now a little over 4 months old. Other women with children might understand/remember, but her hormones have crashed and it’s affecting her. Not to mention, our sweet innocent child is extremely difficult, so we’re constantly stressed out and fried from tending to him. And unfortunately, even if I’m on full dad duty, there’s nowhere in our house she can escape to, to get a break. His fussiness and cries can be heard the next town over.

She also works from home, so between working from home, taking care of the baby at home, and having no friends to hang out with, she is feeling alone as far as friendship is concerned.

I’ll be honest, she does have a couple friends. The issue is they never get to hang out because “life”. So that’s why I’m here.

I’m heart broken watching her feel stuck at home and feel lonely as far as friendship is concerned.

So this huge novel simply to ask if anybody has any recommendations for meet ups or places/things to do where she can make some new friends? She’s tried a couple meet ups, but the two she’s been to ended up being duds with low turnout and vastly different personalities.

For reference, she’s in her early 30s, loves hiking, baking, puzzles, and golf. But she’s also very open to new stuff. So any suggestions would be extremely appreciated.

Also, before anybody comes for me, I do not neglect her and we raise our baby together. We’re very happy as a couple. She just misses having friends she can reach out to and hang out with, and I also want her to have friends she can go do stuff with to get out of the house when she’s feeling cabin fever or needs a break from being a wonderful mom.

Doing my first pulled pork

Gonna be smoking some shoulder for the 4th this weekend and looking for any advice!

Got a massive 15.3 pounder. I know the general rule of thumb is 1-1.5 hours for every pound. Curious if there’s anything I should do different for such a big slab of meat?

Was planning on doing 250 overnight, then wrap it to speed up the stall, then pull when tender and about 200 internal.

I’m also conflicted on spritzing and also doing the wrap. I see people swear by both methods, and also see people swear by not doing either of them. I just don’t want to screw up my first attempt too bad, so any and all advice would be appreciated!

New Smoker - any advice?

Hey all,

Just got my first pellet smoker, so looking for any and all advice! Anything specific I should do before I try my first smoke? Also, is it as simple as just loading up the hopper and choosing a temp and throwing the meat on? It seems too simple to be believable lol
