Got Bangkok flight booked already—- need help destination planning
I got a flight arriving to Bangkok by midnight on the 24th of October and leaving in the morning on the 28th of October, due to work commitments.
My initial plan was to push through with Thakhek in Laos (at Green Climbers Home) but my dilemma is that I am unsure about the flights (due to the current fuel situation) if my flights will still push through. Route arrangement is ideally a flight to Nakhon Phanom and bus to Thakhek.
My other plans:
• Chiang Mai
• Krabi - I have been there in Railay 6 years ago. For rock climbing mainly. But I do consider this as a plan B
• stay in Bangkok as I haven’t really explored it much.
Mainly I want to do the following activities: rock climbing, Muay Thai; or discover the nature/wildlife and temples.
I’ll need to decide where to go considering my limited time frame and the ease of commutes + ease of mind considering my worst nightmare is if flights get canceled suddenly.
Would love to ask for tips on where to go as I want to start booking my accommodations already. Thanks guys.
