After weeks of doubt and research what to buy?

A lil backstory, i have been using a carlsbro csd110 for 4 years which is when i started to learn drums. Now its starting to feel like a toy mainly because of shitty(relatively) samples, midi incompatibility when i connect to daw, pad feel, only open-closed setting hi-hat pedal, cymbal zones and little things that arent really worth mentioning. It isn't a bad kit, but i just feel like the things i mentioned above might be halting my progress(maybe just a skill issue).

So i looked up a few models and brands. Here are some things i took into consideration:

• hi-hat stand (variable hi-hat resistance with physical stand)

• acoustic feel (pad and cymbal feel)

• longevity (wanna use it for many years)

• sample quality (good noise make ears tingle)

• midi connectivity (daw compatibility {chokes,splashes etc.})

bonus:

• additional cymbal pad

• rimshot (i was really excited about this when i accidentally discovered this on a yamaha kit at the store)

**Considered Models:**

Since i want longevity i mainly took brands like yamaha and roland into account because i imagine they would last longer than others. Between those brands i checked out the cheapest models with physical hi-hat stands(this is pretty important to me). In my region the yamahas that are at the same range as rolands are much cheaper so i am stuck between the models.

• Yamaha DTX6K2X (2025$\~)

• Yamaha DTX6K5-M (2175$\~)

• Yamaha DTX6K3X (2285$\~)

**Mesh Heads:**

So im pretty sure i wanna go with a yamaha at this point. I would like the snare to be high tuned feel, toms to feel dead. Last mesh kit i tried(it was a roland but mesh is mesh i guess) i couldnt tune it down enough to make the toms dead as an acoustic. So when i play the mesh and then play acoustic i wouldnt be able to compensate for lack of rebound, so im pretty sceptical about the DTX6K5-M which is mesh.

**Silicone/Rubber?:**

I really liked the silicone snare pad's feel on the DTX6K2X and DTX6K3X but i dont like the look of the tom pads on the K2X and i dont know if its worth the 250$-ish price difference on the K3X for those snare-pad looking tom pads(which i think has 2 zones). Also the silicones arent tuneable like the mesh heads.

**Also:**

The store clerk said they could do 100-150$ discount if buying in store so those arent the final prices but looks like the price difference between the models will stay the same.

**Conclusion:**

If you have used/tried these models/brands and have any idea how they behave and feel please tell me about it. I am mainly concerned about the bounciness of mesh heads but would really like to play with pads that are closer to real size(kind of sick of looking at small rubber pads).

• Which one/ones do you prefer?

• Why or Why not?

• Other brands/models you are confident that fit the criteria and would be as good as these models for the reasons i have mentioned?

This is a very important purchase for me since i am a student and would like to use this kit for 5-7years, i want to have something i wont regret. So if i end up feeling like the +250$ i pay for the more expensive yamaha kit is worth i will but i just need to know if its worth it. Thank you.

**Ps:** I know that fellas on reddit aren't huge fans of big paragraphs so i apologize for the wall of text. I just want to explain my situation as best as possible.

JBL Tune560BT wont charge

So i been using this for about 4 years and i gotta say feels like the worst low price point headphones i used mainly cause of issues i had w/ charging, speaker to circuit connection point, tuning(which can be fixed w/ eq so no biggie) but apart from that i didnt see huge problems so i kept using(just waiting for it to die so i can get a better model/brand honestly).

My main issue has been that it stopped charging when i plugged in and i saw this mentioned by a few more people. When i plug the charger in, the charging light will be on for a couple seconds(3-5s) and then it will go off. Now i read people solved that by openin up the headphones and disconnecting battery from circuit so it would reset. That has been the norm for me while using it for about a year, every time i had to charge i would take apart the headphones, unplug battery from rest of circuit, wait 1-2 mins or so, plug in battery and then the charger, wait for it to charge. But lately that seems to be not working. I unplug battery, wait, replug everything and all. And what i get is the same as above, the charging light lights up for a couple seconds and then goes off.

Any ideas on how to fix it?
Should i just throw it out?

Honestly just toss some ideas at me or things that u think might fix so at least i can try and fix or totally break this thing. Thanks :)

Edit: Oh also i tried checking if the issue is not the headphones so i changed; Adapters, cables, outlets and it seems to still bot work.
